 Bucerias - Casa Ana Ruth

BUCERIAS, pronounced Boo-sar-e-us, is located 10 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport in the state of Nayarit. The name means place of the divers and for many years this was the location of the pearl divers for the Bay of Banderas. The main town is situated on the west side of the highway, therefore  is directly on the beach. The beach is 14 kilometers long, the longest unbroken stretch of beach on the Bay.  Many lovely old beach restaurants are situated on the main town public beach, offering fresh seafood cooked in the authentic Mexican way. A small town of about 9000, you can walk every where you want to go. All the amenities are here, lovely fresh fruit and vegetable stores, small grocery stores with many types of cheeses, cold cut meats, can goods, beer and liquors. An English speaking doctor and dentist are located in the town center and a large drug store, CMQ, is located 2 blocks away and open 24 hours. There are several Internet Coffee Cafes to keep in touch with the folks at home and cost very little, about 1$ American for 1/2 hour.  If you are looking for the Puerto Vallarta of the early 1960's and want a quiet laid back beach vacation in Mexico check these lovely apartment rentals in Bucerias Mexico. Casa Ana Ruth, a small complex of 12 apartments in two buildings, is located a few yards from the beach, all with Bay of Banderas views. The units are furnished, 1 & 2 bedroom, 1 bath and kitchenette. You can rent by the week or month. Reservations need to be made from several months to a year in advance  for the coming high season.
Every window has the lovely Bay view.

Bedrooms are decorated in the Mexican style, with each different.

 The bedrooms are separated from the kitchen and dining area by sliding glass doors, giving privacy.

   The windows are equipped with vertical binds for privacy or for shade.

Stairs going up through the back of the building are hanging with lovely flowers and greenery.

The roof terrace has everything needed to enjoy or entertain while overlooking the glorious ocean. There is a bar, kitchenette, bathroom, table and chairs, plus a sitting area and plenty of room for lounge chairs.
